Milano alum Nathan Yardy (GPIA ’17) produced a story about how a family from Barbados, separated for 50 years, reunited in New York.

The story and podcast titled “A Grandmother-Granddaughter Bond Helps Heal 50 Years of Family Separation was produced as part of Professor John Rudolph’s class on “Telling Immigrant Stories” in conjunction with Feet in Two Worlds.  Check his article and podcast here.

Nathan Yardy is a documentary filmmaker and writer, and works as the Digital Content Manager at the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. He has an M.A. in International Affairs, with a Media and Culture concentration, from The New School.
