Milano Professor, Darrick Hamilton, was presented the 2017 Inspiring Leaders in STEM Award for his effort in diversifying higher education. The award recognizes leaders from underrepresented groups in the STEM fields, who are featured in the September 2017 issue of INSIGHT into Diversity magazine.

Dr. Hamilton is the director of the doctoral program in public and urban policy, and jointly appointed as an associate professor of economics and urban policy at Milano and the Department of Economics at The New School in New York.
