After transitioning from the film industry to the climate adaptation field, I feel like I have finally found my people and my mission. I’m so happy I took the leap! I worry a lot about our collective future though — things are looking pretty dire. I find hope, however, in younger generations, and in my friends, family, and colleagues. I love my home cities: Vancouver, New York, and now, D.C. I work out every day, meditate (sometimes), and try to stay healthy. I fly only when I really need to, haven’t eaten meat in 25 years, and I don’t own a car. It’s important to me to walk the talk. My current non-climate obsession: botany!
