On Tuesday, Nov. 5th Urban Policy professor Alex Schwartz hosted a panel in his Community Development course on Disinvestment, Foreclosure, and Abandonment. The panel comprised Jonathan Furlong, Assistant Director of Tenant and Community Organizing, Pratt Area Community Council (PACC); Alan Mallach, Consultant, Nonresident Senior Fellow, Metropolitan Policy Program, the Brooklings Institution; and Barika Williams, Policy Director, Association for Housing and Neighborhood Development.
Next Tuesday, Nov. 12th Schwartz will host a second panel discussion on Community Development Amid Gentrification. The class meets from 8 to 9:50 on Tuesdays in room 910, 6 E. 16th Street. Anyone interested in attending should send Alex an email in advance ([email protected]).
