Feet In Two Worlds has launched an online fundraising campaign to support development of the Voto2016 app.
The Voto2016 app will encourage greater participation in the democratic process by young Latino voters. Latinos are the nation’s fastest adopters of smart phones.
The Voto2016 app will reach young Latinos on their phones with an interactive environment, a curated news feed of timely and engaging content, and basic information (ie. how to register, where to vote, what to do if you are challenged, candidate profiles, etc.). The app will focus primarily on states where Latino voters were a pivotal factor in the outcome of the past two presidential elections. These include Florida, Colorado, Nevada, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Virginia and Ohio.
