The India China Institute (ICI) assigned the India China Institute Consulting team to provide an analysis of institutions, key actors and current themes that would assist the ICI in refining and implementing its objective: to effectively serve as hub of an international network of institutions and activities in order to deepen and broaden understanding of the global processes. The team also facilitated research on cutting edge issues in trade and development and globalization and urbanization. Finally, the team was charged with defining and establishing a framework for the India China Fellows Program, the foundation of the India Chia Institute
