Screen Shot 2015-12-09 at 5.14.20 PMSGPIA professor Sakiko Fukuda-Parr has released a new book titled Food Security in South Africa: Human Rights and Entitlement Perspectives. The book investigates social and economic policies that would fulfill the right to food—a critical issue considering that over 20 years after the end of apartheid, millions of South Africans remain food insecure. The book was co-authored by University of Cape Town’s Viviene Taylor and published earlier this week by Juta Press.
