On Thursday, October 25th, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., the University Learning Center is offering a workshop for graduate students on style and clarity. This workshop will reveal what style is and why it is important, identify stylistic problems common to graduate students, and recommend methods for improvement. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring brief excerpts from their own writing.
