The Henry Moore Foundation: An International Artist-Endowed Charity

Richard Calvocoressi CBE, Director, The Henry Moore Foundation, will discuss the genesis and development of The Henry Moore Foundation, which stewards the cultural and philanthropic legacy of one of the twentieth century’s great sculptors. The largest grantmaking artist-endowed foundation outside the U.S. and a leading U.K. arts charity, the Foundation was established by the artist in 1977 to encourage the public’s appreciation of the visual arts and ensure its continued access to his works.
