About the Digital Equity Laboratory:

Through applied research, technical support, and national, state and local policy strategy, the DEL uncovers and addresses structural inequities embedded in a society rapidly being transformed by technology. Please join the DEL for its first all-day symposium to discuss key priorities to advance digital equity. We bring together practitioners, scholars, organizers, and policymakers to create cross-sector leadership on key digital equity issues: developing equitable models of digital access; ensuring that smart-city innovations benefit underrepresented, vulnerable, and marginalized communities; and understanding the implications of big data, algorithms, and new edge technologies. To invites you to a day-long convening to discuss strategic priorities around key digital equity issues including online privacy, big data, and equitable access to the internet.
